Limit Surface Panel |
The Limit Surface panel is used to view a portion of a surface. The panel has controls for specifying the atoms to define the portion of the surface and a distance. Only the portion of the surface that is within the given distance from the specified atoms is displayed.
You can also limit the display of a surface dynamically by using the surface clipping planes. See the topic Clipping Planes Window for more information.
To open the Limit Surface panel, you can:
Click Limit in the Manage Surfaces panel.
This section provides standard picking controls for specifying the ASL around which the surface is displayed.
Specify the limit distance: the distance between the atoms in the ASL and the outermost atoms to be displayed. This distance is specified in angstroms.
